#GivingTuesday – Launched in 2012 as a way to expand philanthropy’s reach, #GivingTuesday is a movement focused on the core idea of celebrating an opening day for the giving season. On #GivingTuesday, which follows immediately on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (two days devoted to shopping), individuals, nonprofits, companies and others find their own ways to celebrate giving back while being a part of the growing focus on doing good.

US Chamber of Commerce Foundation – The foundation arm of the US Chamber of Commerce is home to the Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC), which is focused on helping businesses make a difference within their own companies and the community (local, national or global). A Billion+Change – Created by Points of Light, A Billion+Change is a national campaign encouraging companies to offer skills-based volunteerism service to nonprofits. Since November 2011, more than 250 companies – small and large – have taken the pledge to serve, committing an estimated $1.9 billion worth of pro bono services to nonprofits.
